CEMS

CEMS is short for Continuous Emission Monitoring System
Continuously measures the emission of pollutants coming out of furnace or boiler stacks into the air.
Analyzers, sample handling system and controller designed to detailed US EPA specifications to measure CO, NOx, and O2 in the combustion gas coming out of a furnace or boiler.
Sometimes: SO2, CO2 , HCl, HF ,Mercury and THC.

It is a system used to continuously track, record and report emissions to the environment. Including used to measure combustion efficiency in order to monitor and verify that it has excellent value as specified by the law at all times It will install a set of sensors used to analyze various gases. At each point of exhaust combustion of the machine we are interested in measuring.

At present, air pollution is a major environmental problem and affects humans, animals, plants, cities, forests, including aquatic ecosystems and with pollution problems. The government therefore forced factories to install CEMs and report results all the time.

Regulaion :
for the new factory must be completed before starting plant production.
for the existing factory , the CEMS Installation must be completed within 365 days from the date of announcement (June 2023) or can be extended by submitting an action plan to be completed. but not later than 2027
